I decided to cave and purchase an 85mm f1.4 lens for my K20D and. It isn’t a high end one by either Zeiss or Pentax itself, but instead a cheap production one under the brand Opteka. The lens also sells under some other brands (Vivitar and Rokinon). I figured I didn’t need it to be the sharpest lens in the box, and I think it will come in useful. Basically I will be using this for street photography and until I get better at the manual only focus, I will be stepping the aperture down to f2.0. Anyhow, I am glad I picked up the lens, it was under $300, so I can’t really complain. Here are some samples I took last night.
